Spiritual Services
Complete spiritual and emotional care is available
to all patients, as well as their relatives and friends,
through our spiritual services program. Chaplains
will visit patients upon request and arrange for patients
to see their own pastors as well.
Respiratory Care
Respiratory therapists and specially trained personnel
administer diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory
services to our patients such as:

(including asthma testing)
• Other diagnostic testing
Emergency
Care Because
an accident can happen at any time, we provide emergency
service around the clock. A team of nurses, support
personnel, and physicians staff our emergency room.
In cases of extreme trauma, air and ground ambulance
services are available to provide prompt transportation
to trauma centers in urban areas.
Specialty Outreach Clinics
At St. Gabriel’s Hospital, our access to specialists
gives us the ability to treat a wide range of medical
problems. This growing list of regularly scheduled
physicians includes ENT, Urology and Neurology. We
also provide sophisticated diagnostic tests such as
EMGs, ECGs, etc.
Ear,
Nose & Throat & Audiology
Dr. Ronald Hanson has been providing ear, nose, and
throat services to Central Minnesota for over 20 years.
Karen Nick, MA, CCC-A provides hearing testing services
and hearing aid evaluations. Both Dr. Hanson and Karen
see patients through the Specialty Outreach program
in Little Falls.
Education
Our education programs help people learn how to prevent
future illness by making healthy lifestyle choices
today. Our objective is to serve as the health care
resource for the community.
Laboratory Under
the supervision of a licensed pathologist, our laboratory
staff performs tests vital to a successful diagnosis
and treatment for both inpatients and outpatients.
Unity
Family Home Care & Hospice
Nurses, therapists, and aides assist the client with
rehabilitative needs at home. Hospice care provides
services to clients with terminal illness and their
families.
Pharmacy
A full-service pharmacy, staffed by registered pharmacists
and pharmacy technicians, is located on campus to
dispense medications and intravenous solutions to
all hospital departments. A telepharmacy service,
ePharmacist Direct, expands access to 24 hours a day,
7 days a week.
Cardiac
Rehabilitation
Using education, exercise and psychological support,
our cardiac rehabilitation program helps people recover
from heart injury or surgery, encouraging them to live
in the healthiest way possible.
Social
Services
The social worker works with other team members in reaching
patient goals and ensuring a smooth transition from
the hospital to the community. Many challenges can accompany
a sudden illness or injury. The social worker can
assist patients and families with counseling and support
as well as help them access resources that can meet
individual discharge-planning needs.
Personalized Nursing
Care

trained in the areas of surgery, critical care, obstetrics,
medical/surgical/pediatrics, orthopedics, emergency,

active medical staff serves as a professional partner

Health
Services offered to business clients include:
